Privacy Policy

How Snowbird Security collects, uses, stores, and protects information submitted through this website.

Last updated: July 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Snowbird Security, LLC (“Snowbird Security,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information through this website. It applies to website visitors, prospective clients, guide recipients, general contacts, and employment applicants. It does not replace the privacy terms in a separate client or employment agreement.

Information we collect

We may collect contact information, organization information, service locations, requested services, scheduling information, high-level security concerns, communications preferences, guide-download consent, employment-interest information, résumés, and other information you choose to submit. We may also collect routine technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, referral page, and website activity through hosting, security, and analytics tools.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, evaluate and prepare security-service proposals, communicate with prospective and current clients, provide requested guides, manage recruiting, improve the website, maintain security, comply with law, prevent fraud or misuse, and protect our rights and the rights of others.

CRM, hosting, and service providers

Website submissions may be stored by Netlify, delivered by email, and transferred to HubSpot for contact, company, and sales-pipeline management. Résumés and employment inquiries are handled separately from the sales pipeline. Other vendors may support email, analytics, spam prevention, file storage, and website operations. Vendors receive information only as reasonably necessary to perform services for us and are subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

Marketing communications and text messages

Guide recipients may consent to occasional marketing email. You may unsubscribe using the method provided in a message or by contacting us. Requesting a quote does not automatically enroll you in promotional email or text messages. Selecting text message as a preferred response method authorizes transactional contact about the specific inquiry; promotional texting requires separate consent when required by law.

Information sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information to service providers, professional advisers, insurers, authorities, or other parties when reasonably necessary to operate the website, respond to a request, complete a transaction, comply with law or legal process, investigate misuse, protect safety, or enforce agreements.

Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information and the nature of our operations. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described, to comply with legal or contractual obligations, resolve disputes, maintain records, and protect legitimate business interests. Applicant records may be retained for consideration for current or future opportunities.

Your choices

You may ask to review, correct, or delete information you submitted, subject to legal, contractual, security, and recordkeeping needs. You may disable cookies through your browser, though some website features may not function as intended. Contact us at info@snowbirdsecurityllc.com.

Children

This website is directed to organizations and adults seeking security services or employment. It is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the website.

Data incidents

If we discover a qualifying breach involving personal information, we will investigate and provide notices as required by applicable Maine and federal law.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. Material changes may be highlighted on the website or communicated when appropriate.
